New! New! New! Zzaj PODCAST!
INTERVIEW - We have a great interview with true jazz masters Mark Sherman and Tim Horner... it's especially pertinent since they are on a WORLD TOUR, & one of their stops is just south of where I'm at, in Seoul, Korea!
The ZzajRANT page for this issue has a few of my thoughts about moving back to the land of Morning Calm after a 15 year absence. I'm sure my RANTS will become more "rabid" over the next couple of years as the politicos dork the world up more & more
Evermore exciting MUSIC reviews (We have over 25 splendid new reviews in this issue... there will be many more reviews in upcoming issues, as I start to write up all the wonderful music I've been receiving via the nets for DDR (digital download review); you'll find a much stronger focus on "home-grown" players over the next few issues.
In Issue # 104 (& later):
More fine interviews (super jazz pianist Marius Nordal is in the chute next) & music reviews with today's energy "shakers & movers"

Long-time reader and musician Dave Fuglewicz: I.N. was one of the first 'zines to respond to my work. It was a great 'zine way back then and has maintained the highest of standards every step of the way. 'Zines have come and gone, some with great fanfare, some with quiet aplomb, but few can match the Zzaj for the dedication and fortitude it takes to keep cranking it out. Diversity and ... originality are recognized and applauded, that, in my opinion has always been one of I.N.'s greatest "traits". Number 93 brings us all ever closer to the magical 100th issue. I highly recommend a visit and a read. Y'all get there now. :-)
Music promoter Ann Braithwaite's followon to Dave's comment: Couldn't agree with you more, Dave. And have you heard Dick's music? Great!!
